One of our favorite days of the week is our OBG day but before we show you those let me introduce you to Min our November Guest Designer for the Month of October.
Mmmm, a little about me, huh?
I love Collecting Sand Dollars with my hubby on the Beach, Fresh Brewed Iced Tea with 2 packets of Splenda, Playing the Piano, Buffalo Chicken Dip (I'll share the recipe with you :), Panera Bread Asiago Cheese Bagels, Entertaining & Spending Time with my Family & Friends, Ranch with darn near EVERYTHING, Knitting on a Cold Snowy Day, Cooking with my Hubby….
Oh, wait, that's not what you wanted to know! :)
I grew up and still live in the Great Lakes State of Michigan. I live with my wonderful and supportive hubby, Glen of 7 years. We have 2 fur babies – Gizmo & Tucker our kitties that keep us entertained. We also have a very special Nephew and Niece that we enjoy spoiling any chance we get!
On to the 'crafty' stuff - I guess you could say I've been "Crafty' my whole life. Both my mom and dad are super creative and talented - so that MUST be where I get my many talents from. Growing up we participated in 4-H, mainly showing horses, but every year at summer fair, we'd do other "projects" that would be judged. We were always trying SOMETHING new - Stained Glass, Basket Weaving, Cross-Stitching, Painting, Cooking, Knitting & Crocheting (sure wish I could remember how to crochet now!)
After I graduated from college a lady I worked with introduced me to scrapbooking and my paper crafting addiction was born. Who would have though that as an adult I could get away with playing with paper, scissors and glue (remember that glue in Kindergarten that smelled so good you wanted to taste it to see if it really tasted as good as it smelled….hmmm, maybe that was just the kids I grew up with that did that)?! I have always loved 'documenting' life's MOMENTS - keeping track of memories from trips and events in our lives, so scrapbooking was a perfect FIT in my life! Then, a few years ago I started card making and found ANOTHER love. There's nothing better than making a card that fits PERFECT for the occasion you need and the happiness that creation provides the receiver.
I love trying new things when it comes to my scrapbooking & card making – new tools (ask me how much I love my new i-rock), styles & products. I love repurposing products too – you'd be amazed what you can do with dryer sheets, a little glimmer mist and a fancy brad!!)
Imagine my sheer joy when I found Digi-stamps about a year ago?! Wow, what WONDERFUL little pieces of creative delight! And imagine the happy dance I was doing when I was chosen to be a guest designer for an awesome digi-company like Bugaboo Stamps? Can you say 7
